Firewood Quarantine

Due to NH firewood quarantine, all firewood must be purchased at the campground, unless you live in Coos  County.

Policies

To ensure all of our guests have a great camping experience,  please review and take notice of our on-site policies, which emphasize caring for our campground and respecting your neighbors and the environment around us.

Campground Policies

 

Check-In/Out:  Check-in time is 2:00 pm.  Check-out time is 11:00 am for campsites and 10:00 am for rental RVs. 

 

Firewood and Firewood:  Fires must be burned in fire rings only.  Due to the invasive species threat, all firewood must be purchased at Riverside Camping & RV Resort unless you live in Coos County.   Campers will incur a $20 surcharge if anything other than wood ash is found in firepits.

Grass Protection:  We value our grass! No small step mats.  Large mats may be used for a maximum of 12 hours per day.  Please roll up your mat at night and when you are away from your camper.  Please move propane tanks, trash cans, coolers, wood, etc. frequently, so they do not harm the grass.

​

Site Capacity:  Overnight site capacity is limited to four adults and four children.  Site rental includes one RV or one tent per site.  Overnight campers ages 17 and older who wish to have their own sleeping arrangement (tent, hammock, etc.) are required to pay an additional site fee in advance.

​

Quiet HoursOutside lights off - outside music off - no sound beyond your site.  10:00 pm to 8:00 am Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 pm to 8:00 am Friday and Saturday.  Unaccompanied children must be on their own site by 9:00 pm.

​

Privacy:  Camp sites are private.  Do not walk or ride through other camp sites.

​

Smoking:  Smoking is limited to your own site or the sites of others if they approve.  Smoking is prohibited in common areas (pool, ;avilion, etc.)  All cigarette butts must be properly disposed of.

​

Alcohol/Drugs:  Responsible alcohol consumption by adults of legal drinking age is permitted.  The following are prohibited and may result in expulsion: (1) Alcohol consumption by underage persons, (2) Illegal drug use, and (3) Disruptive behavior due to alcohol and/or drug consumption or otherwise.

​

Visitors:  All visitors must register before entering the campground and pay the $5.00 visitor fee.  Day visitors must leave the campground by 10:00 pm and overnight visitors must leave by 11:00 am.  Overnight visitors ages 17 and older who sleep outside the RV (i.e. tent, etc.) will be charged a separate site rental.  Visitors not registering and/or coming onto the campground prior to registering will be asked to leave the campground.

Reservations / Cancellation Policy (reservations for less than two weeks):  Reservations will be secured with a credit card when the reservation is made.  Holiday weekend reservations canceled 21 days or more before arrival will incur no charges.  Holiday weekend reservations canceled within 21 days of arrival will incur full charges if the site is not re-rented for the dates reserved.  Non-holiday reservations canceled canceled 14 days or more before arrival will incur no charges.  Non-holiday reservations canceled within 14 days of arrival will incur full charges if the site is not re-rented for the dates reserved.  A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged for all cancelations within 21/14 days.

Reservations / Cancellation  Policy (reservations for two weeks or more):  Reservations will be secured with a credit card when the reservation is made and a 25% deposit will be applied to the reservation.  Reservations canceled more than 75 days before arrival will incur no charges.  Reservations canceled from 60 to 75 days before arrival will be charged 25% of the reservation amount plus a $25.00 administrative fee.  Reservations canceled from 30 to 59 days before arrival will be charged 50% of the reservation amount plus a $25.00 administrative fee.  Reservations canceled less than 30 days before arrival will be charged the entire reservations amount.

Vehicles / Trailers:  A maximum of two vehicles may be parked at each site.  All other vehicles must be parked in visitor parking outside the security wall by the river.  Do not drive vehicles to the bathhouse.  All trailers not in use must be parked in the  ATV/trailer storage area.  Trailers not in use are not to be stored at the campground.

ATVs/Golf Carts:  ATVs and ATV trailers are to be stored in the ATV/trailer storage area.  ATVs may not be driven inside Riverside except to drive from the ATV/trailer storage area to the local trail, then upon return to the ATV/trailer storage area.  If you are trailering the ATV to another location before 8:00 am (quiet hours), you may move the ATV trailer from the ATV/trailer storage area to your site between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm the night before.  Visitors with ATVs must check in at the office to register and pay the visitor fee before parking their vehicles and trailers visitor parking outside the security wall by the river.

 

Pets:  Campers must provide a current rabies certificate for their animals upon check in.  Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed in common areas or the children's activity area.  Pets must be attended while outside.  All pet waste is to be picked up immediately, is to be securely bagged, and is to be deposited in the trash (not in toilets or septic).  Owners are responsible for damage caused by their pet.  A pet deemed a nuisance will not be allowed to remain at the campground.  Examples of a pet nuisance include but are not limited to: (1) causing personal injury or property damage, (2) excessive barking, (3) relieving itself in common areas, (4) exhibiting aggressive or other dangerous or potentially dangerous behavior, and (5) pets who have parasites.

 

Pool:  The pool is open from 10:00 am until dusk..  There is no lifeguard employed, so all swimmers swim at their own risk.  All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years old while in the pool enclosure.  Swim diapers are required for children who are not toilet trained.  Prohibited in the pool enclosure: (1) running, (2) diving, (3) glass containers and (4) smoking.

  

Drones:  Drones are prohibited as they infringe on other campers' privacy and quite enjoyment.

Trees and Shrubs:  Cutting trees, saplings and shrubs is strictly prohibited.

 

Speed Limit:  The speed limit in the campground is 7 ½ mph and is strictly enforced.  One warning will be given; on the second offense, the vehicle must be parked outside the fence.

 

River Activities:  River activities are done at your own risk.

 

Personal Property:  As a condition of your staying at Riverside Camping & RV Resort, LLC, you agree that Riverside Camping & RV Resort, LLC and its owners and staff are not responsible for damage to or theft of personal property.  Please ensure all your personal property is properly secured and protected prior to leaving your campsite.  Decks and other such property shall be staked and/or attached to the ground or a significant object, to avoid washing away if a flood occurs.

 

Trash:  Trash must be stored in proper containers and taken to the dumpster (located by the exit) daily.

 

Fireworks:  Except for campground sanctioned activities, firecrackers, sparklers or other pyrotechnic devices are not permitted.

Assumption of Risk:  Riverside Camping & RV Resort, LLC is not responsible for any theft, fire loss or accident, or for any personal property.  Use of campground facilities is strictly at your own risk, and all guests and visitors assume all risks and dangers incidental to their stay, and agree that the campground and its owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damage incurred while at the campground.
